Companions
សាវត្ថិយំ វិហរតិ។
At Sāvatthī.
អថ ខោ ទ្វេ ភិក្ខូ សហាយកា អាយស្មតោ មហាកប្បិនស្ស សទ្ធិវិហារិនោ យេន ភគវា តេនុបសង្កមិំសុ។
Then two bhikkhus who were companions, pupils of Venerable Mahākappina, went to see the Buddha.
អទ្ទសា ខោ ភគវា តេ ភិក្ខូ ទូរតោវ អាគច្ឆន្តេ។ ទិស្វាន ភិក្ខូ អាមន្តេសិ: “បស្សថ នោ តុម្ហេ, ភិក្ខវេ, ឯតេ ភិក្ខូ សហាយកេ អាគច្ឆន្តេ កប្បិនស្ស សទ្ធិវិហារិនោ”តិ?
The Buddha saw them coming off in the distance, and addressed the bhikkhus: “Bhikkhus, do you see those monks coming who are companions, pupils of Venerable Mahākappina?”
“ឯវំ, ភន្តេ”។
“Yes, sir.”
“ឯតេ ខោ តេ ភិក្ខូ មហិទ្ធិកា មហានុភាវា។ ន ច សា សមាបត្តិ សុលភរូបា, យា តេហិ ភិក្ខូហិ អសមាបន្នបុព្ពា។ យស្ស ចត្ថាយ កុលបុត្តា សម្មទេវ អគារស្មា អនគារិយំ បព្ពជន្តិ តទនុត្តរំ ព្រហ្មចរិយបរិយោសានំ ទិដ្ឋេវ ធម្មេ សយំ អភិញ្ញា សច្ឆិកត្វា ឧបសម្បជ្ជ វិហរន្តី”តិ។
“Those bhikkhus are very mighty and powerful. It’s not easy to find an attainment that they have not already attained. And they’ve realized the supreme end of the spiritual path in this very life. They live having achieved with their own insight the goal for which gentlemen rightly go forth from the lay life to homelessness.”
ឥទមវោច ភគវា។ ឥទំ វត្វាន សុគតោ អថាបរំ ឯតទវោច សត្ថា:
That is what the Buddha said. Then the Holy One, the Teacher, went on to say:
“សហាយាវតិមេ ភិក្ខូ, ចិររត្តំ សមេតិកា; សមេតិ នេសំ សទ្ធម្មោ, ធម្មេ ពុទ្ធប្បវេទិតេ។
“These companion bhikkhus have been together for a long time. The true teaching has brought them together, the teaching proclaimed by the Buddha.
សុវិនីតា កប្បិនេន, ធម្មេ អរិយប្បវេទិតេ; ធារេន្តិ អន្តិមំ ទេហំ, ជេត្វា មារំ សវាហិនិន៑”តិ។
They’ve been well trained by Kappina in the teaching proclaimed by the Noble One. They bear their final body, having vanquished Māra and his mount.”
ទ្វាទសមំ។
ភិក្ខុវគ្គោ បឋមោ។
តស្សុទ្ទានំ
កោលិតោ ឧបតិស្សោ ច, ឃដោ ចាបិ បវុច្ចតិ; នវោ សុជាតោ ភទ្ទិ ច, វិសាខោ នន្ទោ តិស្សោ ច; ថេរនាមោ ច កប្បិនោ, សហាយេន ច ទ្វាទសាតិ។
ភិក្ខុសំយុត្តំ សមត្តំ។

តស្សុទ្ទានំ
និទានាភិសមយធាតុ, អនមតគ្គេន កស្សបំ; សក្ការរាហុលលក្ខណោ, ឱបម្មភិក្ខុនា វគ្គោ។ ទុតិយោ តេន បវុច្ចតីតិ។
និទានវគ្គសំយុត្តបាឡិ និដ្ឋិតា។
