ပဌမသောတာပန္နသုတ္တ
A Stream-Enterer (1st)
“ပဉ္စိမာနိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဣန္ဒြိယာနိ၊ ကတမာနိ ပဉ္စ? သဒ္ဓိန္ဒြိယံ, ဝီရိယိန္ဒြိယံ, သတိန္ဒြိယံ, သမာဓိန္ဒြိယံ, ပညိန္ဒြိယံ၊ ယတော ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အရိယသာဝကော ဣမေသံ ပဉ္စန္နံ ဣန္ဒြိယာနံ အဿာဒဉ္စ အာဒီနဝဉ္စ နိဿရဏဉ္စ ယထာဘူတံ ပဇာနာတိ—အယံ ဝုစ္စတိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အရိယသာဝကော သောတာပန္နော အဝိနိပါတဓမ္မော နိယတော သမ္ဗောဓိပရာယဏော”တိ၊
“Bhikkhus, there are these five faculties. What five? The faculties of faith, energy, mindfulness, samādhi, and wisdom. A noble disciple comes to truly understand these five faculties’ gratification, drawback, and escape. Such a noble disciple is called a stream-enterer, not liable to be reborn in the underworld, bound for awakening.”
