A Trainee (1st)
“පඤ්චිමේ, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මා සේඛස්ස භික්ඛුනෝ පරිහානාය සංවත්තන්ති. කතමේ පඤ්ච? කම්මාරාමතා, භස්සාරාමතා, නිද්දාරාමතා, සඞ්ගණිකාරාමතා, යථාවිමුත්තං චිත්තං න පච්චවේක්ඛති—ඉමේ ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, පඤ්ච ධම්මා සේඛස්ස භික්ඛුනෝ පරිහානාය සංවත්තන්ති.
“These five things lead to the decline of a bhikkhu trainee. What five? They relish work, talk, sleep, and company. And they don’t review the extent of their mind’s freedom. These five things lead to the decline of a bhikkhu trainee.
