“ปญฺจิเม, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺมา เสขสฺส ภิกฺขุโน ปริหานาย สํวตฺตนฺติฯ กตเม ปญฺจ? กมฺมารามตา, ภสฺสารามตา, นิทฺทารามตา, สงฺคณิการามตา, ยถาวิมุตฺตํ จิตฺตํ น ปจฺจเวกฺขติ—อิเม โข, ภิกฺขเว, ปญฺจ ธมฺมา เสขสฺส ภิกฺขุโน ปริหานาย สํวตฺตนฺติฯ
“These five things lead to the decline of a bhikkhu trainee. What five? They relish work, talk, sleep, and company. And they don’t review the extent of their mind’s freedom. These five things lead to the decline of a bhikkhu trainee.
