Complete Understanding
“पञ्चिमानि, भिक्खवे, इन्द्रियानि भावितानि बहुलीकतानि अद्धानपरिञ्ञाय संवत्तन्ति। कतमानि पञ्च? सद्धिन्द्रियं …पे… पञ्ञिन्द्रियं—इमानि खो, भिक्खवे, पञ्चिन्द्रियानि भावितानि बहुलीकतानि अद्धानपरिञ्ञाय संवत्तन्ती”ति।
“Pañcimāni, bhikkhave, indriyāni bhāvitāni bahulīkatāni addhānapariññāya saṁvattanti. Katamāni pañca? Saddhindriyaṁ …pe… paññindriyaṁ—imāni kho, bhikkhave, pañcindriyāni bhāvitāni bahulīkatāni addhānapariññāya saṁvattantī”ti.
“Bhikkhus, when these five faculties are developed and cultivated they lead to the complete understanding of the course of time. What five? The faculties of faith, energy, mindfulness, samādhi, and wisdom. When these five faculties are developed and cultivated they lead to the complete understanding of the course of time.”
