“តីណិមានិ, ភិក្ខវេ, មលានិ។ កតមានិ តីណិ? រាគោ មលំ, ទោសោ មលំ, មោហោ មលំ—ឥមានិ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, តីណិ មលានិ។
“Bhikkhus, there are these three stains. What three? Greed, hate, and delusion. These are the three stains.
ឥមេសំ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, តិណ្ណន្នំ មលានំ អភិញ្ញាយ បរិញ្ញាយ បរិក្ខយាយ បហានាយ …បេ… អយំ អរិយោ អដ្ឋង្គិកោ មគ្គោ ភាវេតព្ពោ”តិ។
The noble eightfold path should be developed for the direct knowledge, complete understanding, finishing, and giving up of these three stains.”
