“ចត្តារោមេ, ភិក្ខវេ, ឥទ្ធិបាទា។ កតមេ ចត្តារោ? ឥធ, ភិក្ខវេ, ភិក្ខុ ឆន្ទសមាធិប្បធានសង្ខារសមន្នាគតំ ឥទ្ធិបាទំ ភាវេតិ, វីរិយសមាធិ …បេ… ចិត្តសមាធិ …បេ… វីមំសាសមាធិប្បធានសង្ខារសមន្នាគតំ ឥទ្ធិបាទំ ភាវេតិ។ ឥមេ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, ចត្តារោ ឥទ្ធិបាទា។ ឥមេសំ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, ចតុន្នំ ឥទ្ធិបាទានំ ភាវិតត្តា ពហុលីកតត្តា តថាគតោ ‘អរហំ សម្មាសម្ពុទ្ធោៜតិ វុច្ចតី”តិ។
“Bhikkhus, there are these four bases of psychic power. What four? It’s when a bhikkhu develops the basis of psychic power that has samādhi due to enthusiasm … energy … mental development … inquiry, and active effort. These are the four bases of psychic power. It is because he has developed and cultivated these four bases of psychic power that the Realized One is called ‘the perfected one, the fully awakened Buddha’.”
