A Heap of the Unskillful
“အကုသလရာသီတိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဝဒမာနော ပဉ္စ နီဝရဏေ သမ္မာ ဝဒမာနော ဝဒေယျ၊ ကေဝလော ဟာယံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အကုသလရာသိ ယဒိဒံ ပဉ္စ နီဝရဏာ၊ ကတမေ ပဉ္စ? ကာမစ္ဆန္ဒနီဝရဏံ, ဗျာပါဒနီဝရဏံ, ထိနမိဒ္ဓနီဝရဏံ, ဥဒ္ဓစ္စကုက္ကုစ္စနီဝရဏံ, ဝိစိကိစ္ဆာနီဝရဏံ၊ အကုသလရာသီတိ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဝဒမာနော ဣမေ ပဉ္စ နီဝရဏေ သမ္မာ ဝဒမာနော ဝဒေယျ၊ ကေဝလော ဟာယံ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, အကုသလရာသိ ယဒိဒံ ပဉ္စ နီဝရဏာ”တိ၊
“Bhikkhus, rightly speaking, you’d call the five hindrances a ‘heap of the unskillful’. For these five hindrances are entirely a heap of the unskillful. What five? The hindrances of sensual desire, ill will, dullness and drowsiness, restlessness and remorse, and doubt. Rightly speaking, you’d call these five hindrances a ‘heap of the unskillful’. For these five hindrances are entirely a heap of the unskillful.”
