At Ñātika
ဧဝံ မေ သုတံ—ဧကံ သမယံ ဘဂဝါ ဉာတိကေ ဝိဟရတိ ဂိဉ္ဇကာဝသထေ၊ အထ ခေါ ဘဂဝါ ရဟောဂတော ပဋိသလ္လာနော ဣမံ ဓမ္မပရိယာယံ အဘာသိ:
So I have heard. At one time the Buddha was staying at Ñātika in the brick house. Then while the Buddha was in private retreat he spoke this exposition of the teaching:
“စက္ခုဉ္စ ပဋိစ္စ ရူပေ စ ဥပ္ပဇ္ဇတိ စက္ခုဝိညာဏံ၊ တိဏ္ဏံ သင်္ဂတိ ဖဿော၊ ဖဿပစ္စယာ ဝေဒနာ, ဝေဒနာပစ္စယာ တဏှာ; တဏှာပစ္စယာ ဥပါဒါနံ …ပေ… ဧဝမေတဿ ကေဝလဿ ဒုက္ခက္ခန္ဓဿ သမုဒယော ဟောတိ၊
“Eye consciousness arises dependent on the eye and sights. The meeting of the three is contact. Contact is a condition for feeling. Feeling is a condition for craving. Craving is a condition for grasping. … That is how this entire mass of suffering originates.

စက္ခုဉ္စ ပဋိစ္စ ရူပေ စ ဥပ္ပဇ္ဇတိ စက္ခုဝိညာဏံ၊ တိဏ္ဏံ သင်္ဂတိ ဖဿော၊ ဖဿပစ္စယာ ဝေဒနာ; ဝေဒနာပစ္စယာ တဏှာ၊ တဿာယေဝ တဏှာယ အသေသဝိရာဂနိရောဓာ ဥပါဒါနနိရောဓော; ဥပါဒါနနိရောဓာ ဘဝနိရောဓော …ပေ… ဧဝမေတဿ ကေဝလဿ ဒုက္ခက္ခန္ဓဿ နိရောဓော ဟောတိ၊
Eye consciousness arises dependent on the eye and sights. The meeting of the three is contact. Contact is a condition for feeling. Feeling is a condition for craving. When that craving fades away and ceases with nothing left over, grasping ceases. When grasping ceases, continued existence ceases. … That is how this entire mass of suffering ceases.
သောတဉ္စ ပဋိစ္စ သဒ္ဒေ စ …ပေ… မနဉ္စ ပဋိစ္စ ဓမ္မေ စ ဥပ္ပဇ္ဇတိ မနောဝိညာဏံ၊ တိဏ္ဏံ သင်္ဂတိ ဖဿော၊ ဖဿပစ္စယာ ဝေဒနာ; ဝေဒနာပစ္စယာ တဏှာ၊ တဿာယေဝ တဏှာယ အသေသဝိရာဂနိရောဓာ ဥပါဒါနနိရောဓော; ဥပါဒါနနိရောဓာ ဘဝနိရောဓော …ပေ… ဧဝမေတဿ ကေဝလဿ ဒုက္ခက္ခန္ဓဿ နိရောဓော ဟောတီ”တိ၊
Ear consciousness arises dependent on the ear and sounds. … Mind consciousness arises dependent on the mind and thoughts. The meeting of the three is contact. Contact is a condition for feeling. Feeling is a condition for craving. When that craving fades away and ceases with nothing left over, grasping ceases. When grasping ceases, continued existence ceases. … That is how this entire mass of suffering ceases.”
တေန ခေါ ပန သမယေန အညတရော ဘိက္ခု ဘဂဝတော ဥပဿုတိ ဌိတော ဟောတိ၊ အဒ္ဒသာ ခေါ ဘဂဝါ တံ ဘိက္ခုံ ဥပဿုတိ ဌိတံ၊ ဒိသွာန တံ ဘိက္ခုံ ဧတဒဝေါစ: “အဿောသိ နော တွံ, ဘိက္ခု, ဣမံ ဓမ္မပရိယာယန်”တိ?
Now at that time a certain monk was standing listening in on the Buddha. The Buddha saw him and said, “Monk, did you hear that exposition of the teaching?”
“ဧဝံ, ဘန္တေ”တိ၊
“Yes, sir.”
“ဥဂ္ဂဏှာဟိ တွံ, ဘိက္ခု, ဣမံ ဓမ္မပရိယာယံ; ပရိယာပုဏာဟိ တွံ, ဘိက္ခု, ဣမံ ဓမ္မပရိယာယံ; ဓာရေဟိ တွံ, ဘိက္ခု, ဣမံ ဓမ္မပရိယာယံ၊ အတ္ထသံဟိတော အယံ, ဘိက္ခု, ဓမ္မပရိယာယော အာဒိဗြဟ္မစရိယကော”တိ၊
“Learn that exposition of the teaching, memorize it, and remember it. That exposition of the teaching is beneficial and relates to the fundamentals of the spiritual life.”
