“ตีหิ, ภิกฺขเว, ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ญาโต ภิกฺขุ พหุชนอหิตาย ปฏิปนฺโน โหติ พหุชนทุกฺขาย, พหุโน ชนสฺส อนตฺถาย อหิตาย ทุกฺขาย เทวมนุสฺสานํฯ กตเมหิ ตีหิ? อนนุโลมิเก กายกมฺเม สมาทเปติ, อนนุโลมิเก วจีกมฺเม สมาทเปติ, อนนุโลมิเกสุ ธมฺเมสุ สมาทเปติฯ
“Bhikkhus, a well-known bhikkhu who has three qualities is acting for the hurt and unhappiness of the people, for the harm, hurt, and suffering of gods and humans. What three? They encourage deeds of body and speech, as well as principles, that don’t reinforce good qualities.
อิเมหิ โข, ภิกฺขเว, ตีหิ ธมฺเมหิ สมนฺนาคโต ญาโต ภิกฺขุ พหุชนอหิตาย ปฏิปนฺโน โหติ พหุชนทุกฺขาย, พหุโน ชนสฺส อนตฺถาย อหิตาย ทุกฺขาย เทวมนุสฺสานํฯ
A well-known bhikkhu who has these three qualities is acting for the hurt and unhappiness of the people, for the harm, hurt, and suffering of gods and humans.
