Kammasamādānasutta
The Results of Deeds Undertaken
“इमेसञ्च पनाहं, आवुसो, चतुन्नं सतिपट्ठानानं भावितत्ता बहुलीकतत्ता अतीतानागतपच्चुप्पन्नानं कम्मसमादानानं ठानसो हेतुसो विपाकं यथाभूतं पजानामी”ति।
“Imesañca panāhaṁ, āvuso, catunnaṁ satipaṭṭhānānaṁ bhāvitattā bahulīkatattā atītānāgatapaccuppannānaṁ kammasamādānānaṁ ṭhānaso hetuso vipākaṁ yathābhūtaṁ pajānāmī”ti.
“… And it’s because of developing and cultivating these four kinds of mindfulness meditation that I truly understand the result of deeds undertaken in the past, future, and present in terms of causes and reasons.”
