Aṭṭhaṅgikasutta
The Eightfold Path
सावत्थियं विहरति।
Sāvatthiyaṁ viharati.
At Sāvatthī.
“धातुसोव, भिक्खवे, सत्ता संसन्दन्ति समेन्ति। मिच्छादिट्ठिका मिच्छादिट्ठिकेहि सद्धिं संसन्दन्ति समेन्ति; मिच्छासङ्कप्पा …पे… मिच्छावाचा … मिच्छाकम्मन्ता … मिच्छाआजीवा … मिच्छावायामा … मिच्छासतिनो … मिच्छासमाधिनो मिच्छासमाधीहि सद्धिं संसन्दन्ति समेन्ति।
“Dhātusova, bhikkhave, sattā saṁsandanti samenti. Micchādiṭṭhikā micchādiṭṭhikehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti; micchāsaṅkappā …pe… micchāvācā … micchākammantā … micchāājīvā … micchāvāyāmā … micchāsatino … micchāsamādhino micchāsamādhīhi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti.
“Bhikkhus, sentient beings come together and converge because of an element: those of wrong view with those of wrong view … wrong thought … wrong speech … wrong action … wrong livelihood … wrong effort … wrong mindfulness … wrong samādhi …
सम्मादिट्ठिका सम्मादिट्ठिकेहि सद्धिं संसन्दन्ति समेन्ति; सम्मासङ्कप्पा …पे… सम्मावाचा … सम्माकम्मन्ता … सम्माआजीवा … सम्मावायामा … सम्मासतिनो … सम्मासमाधिनो सम्मासमाधीहि सद्धिं संसन्दन्ति समेन्ती”ति।
Sammādiṭṭhikā sammādiṭṭhikehi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samenti; sammāsaṅkappā …pe… sammāvācā … sammākammantā … sammāājīvā … sammāvāyāmā … sammāsatino … sammāsamādhino sammāsamādhīhi saddhiṁ saṁsandanti samentī”ti.
Those who have right view … right thought … right speech … right action … right livelihood … right effort … right mindfulness … right samādhi with those who have right samādhi.”
