The Fruit of Non-Return

“ဆ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေ အပ္ပဟာယ အဘဗ္ဗော အနာဂါမိဖလံ သစ္ဆိကာတုံ၊ ကတမေ ဆ? အဿဒ္ဓိယံ, အဟိရိကံ, အနောတ္တပ္ပံ, ကောသဇ္ဇံ, မုဋ္ဌဿစ္စံ, ဒုပ္ပညတံ—ဣမေ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဆ ဓမ္မေ အပ္ပဟာယ အဘဗ္ဗော အနာဂါမိဖလံ သစ္ဆိကာတုံ၊

“Bhikkhus, without giving up six things you can’t realize the fruit of non-return. What six? Lack of faith, conscience, and prudence; laziness, unmindfulness, and witlessness. Without giving up these six things you can’t realize the fruit of non-return.

ဆ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မေ ပဟာယ ဘဗ္ဗော အနာဂါမိဖလံ သစ္ဆိကာတုံ၊ ကတမေ ဆ? အဿဒ္ဓိယံ, အဟိရိကံ, အနောတ္တပ္ပံ, ကောသဇ္ဇံ, မုဋ္ဌဿစ္စံ, ဒုပ္ပညတံ—ဣမေ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဆ ဓမ္မေ ပဟာယ ဘဗ္ဗော အနာဂါမိဖလံ သစ္ဆိကာတုန်”တိ၊

After giving up six things you can realize the fruit of non-return. What six? Lack of faith, conscience, and prudence; laziness, unmindfulness, and witlessness. After giving up these six things you can realize the fruit of non-return.”
