“ปญฺจิเม, ภิกฺขเว, อาทีนวา อคฺคิสฺมึฯ กตเม ปญฺจ? อจกฺขุโสฺส, ทุพฺพณฺณกรโณ, ทุพฺพลกรโณ, สงฺคณิกาปวฑฺฒโน, ติรจฺฉานกถาปวตฺตนิโก โหติฯ อิเม โข, ภิกฺขเว, ปญฺจ อาทีนวา อคฺคิสฺมินฺ”ติฯ
“Bhikkhus, there are these five drawbacks of a fire. What five? It’s bad for your eyes. It’s bad for your complexion. It makes you weak. It draws in groups. And it encourages low talk. These are the five drawbacks of a fire.”
