A Guest House
“සේය්යථාපි, භික්ඛවේ, ආගන්තුකාගාරං. තත්ථ පුරත්ථිමායපි දිසාය ආගන්ත්වා වාසං කප්පේන්ති, පච්ඡිමායපි දිසාය ආගන්ත්වා වාසං කප්පේන්ති, උත්තරායපි දිසාය ආගන්ත්වා වාසං කප්පේන්ති, දක්ඛිණායපි දිසාය ආගන්ත්වා වාසං කප්පේන්ති. ඛත්තියාපි ආගන්ත්වා වාසං කප්පේන්ති, බ්රාහ්මණාපි ආගන්ත්වා වාසං කප්පේන්ති, වේස්සාපි ආගන්ත්වා වාසං කප්පේන්ති, සුද්දාපි ආගන්ත්වා වාසං කප්පේන්ති.
“Bhikkhus, suppose there was a guest house. Lodgers come from the east, west, north, and south. Aristocrats, brahmins, peasants, and menials all stay there.
ඒවමේව ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, ඉමස්මිං කායස්මිං විවිධා වේදනා උප්පජ්ජන්ති. සුඛාපි වේදනා උප්පජ්ජති, දුක්ඛාපි වේදනා උප්පජ්ජති, අදුක්ඛමසුඛාපි වේදනා උප්පජ්ජති. සාමිසාපි සුඛා වේදනා උප්පජ්ජති, සාමිසාපි දුක්ඛා වේදනා උප්පජ්ජති, සාමිසාපි අදුක්ඛමසුඛා වේදනා උප්පජ්ජති. නිරාමිසාපි සුඛා වේදනා උප්පජ්ජති, නිරාමිසාපි දුක්ඛා වේදනා උප්පජ්ජති, නිරාමිසාපි අදුක්ඛමසුඛා වේදනා උප්පජ්ජතී”ති.
In the same way, various feelings arise in this body: pleasant, painful, and neutral feelings. Also pleasant, painful, and neutral feelings of the flesh arise. Also pleasant, painful, and neutral feelings not of the flesh arise.”
