सावत्थिनिदानं।

“यो, भिक्खवे, रूपतण्हाय छन्दरागो, चित्तस्सेसो उपक्किलेसो। यो सद्दतण्हाय … यो गन्धतण्हाय … यो रसतण्हाय … यो फोट्ठब्बतण्हाय … यो धम्मतण्हाय छन्दरागो, चित्तस्सेसो उपक्किलेसो। यतो खो, भिक्खवे, भिक्खुनो …पे… अभिञ्ञा सच्छिकरणीयेसु धम्मेसू”ति।
“Yo, bhikkhave, rūpataṇhāya chandarāgo, cittasseso upakkileso. Yo saddataṇhāya … yo gandhataṇhāya … yo rasataṇhāya … yo phoṭṭhabbataṇhāya … yo dhammataṇhāya chandarāgo, cittasseso upakkileso. Yato kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno …pe… abhiññā sacchikaraṇīyesu dhammesū”ti.
“Bhikkhus, desire and greed for craving for sights, craving for sounds, craving for smells, craving for tastes, craving for touches, or craving for thoughts is a corruption of the mind. …”
