សរីរដ្ឋធម្មសុត្ត
Existing Because of the Body
“ទសយិមេ, ភិក្ខវេ, ធម្មា សរីរដ្ឋា។ កតមេ ទស? សីតំ, ឧណ្ហំ, ជិឃច្ឆា, បិបាសា, ឧច្ចារោ, បស្សាវោ, កាយសំវរោ, វចីសំវរោ, អាជីវសំវរោ, បោនោភវិកោ ភវសង្ខារោ—ឥមេ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, ទស ធម្មា សរីរដ្ឋា”តិ។
“Bhikkhus, these ten things exist because of the body. What ten? Cold, heat, hunger, thirst, feces, urine, restraint of body, speech, and livelihood, and the will to live that leads to future lives. These ten things exist because of the body.”
