सावत्थिनिदानं।

Sāvatthinidānaṁ.

At Sāvatthī.

“सुतवा, भिक्खवे, अरियसावको रूपस्स समुदयञ्च अत्थङ्गमञ्च अस्सादञ्च आदीनवञ्च निस्सरणञ्च यथाभूतं पजानाति। वेदनाय … सञ्ञाय … सङ्खारानं … विञ्ञाणस्स समुदयञ्च अत्थङ्गमञ्च अस्सादञ्च आदीनवञ्च निस्सरणञ्च यथाभूतं पजानाती”ति।

“Sutavā, bhikkhave, ariyasāvako rūpassa samudayañca atthaṅgamañca assādañca ādīnavañca nissaraṇañca yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti. Vedanāya … saññāya … saṅkhārānaṁ … viññāṇassa samudayañca atthaṅgamañca assādañca ādīnavañca nissaraṇañca yathābhūtaṁ pajānātī”ti.

“Bhikkhus, a learned noble disciple truly understands the origin, the ending, the gratification, the drawback, and the escape when it comes to form, feeling, perception, functioning patterns, and consciousness.”
