Temporarily Free (2nd)
“पञ्चिमे, भिक्खवे, धम्मा समयविमुत्तस्स भिक्खुनो परिहानाय संवत्तन्ति। कतमे पञ्च? कम्मारामता, भस्सारामता, निद्दारामता, इन्द्रियेसु अगुत्तद्वारता, भोजने अमत्तञ्ञुता। इमे खो, भिक्खवे, पञ्च धम्मा समयविमुत्तस्स भिक्खुनो परिहानाय संवत्तन्ति।
“Pañcime, bhikkhave, dhammā samayavimuttassa bhikkhuno parihānāya saṁvattanti. Katame pañca? Kammārāmatā, bhassārāmatā, niddārāmatā, indriyesu aguttadvāratā, bhojane amattaññutā. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca dhammā samayavimuttassa bhikkhuno parihānāya saṁvattanti.
“Bhikkhus, these five things lead to the decline of a bhikkhu who is temporarily free. What five? They relish work, talk, and sleep. They don’t guard the sense doors and they eat too much. These five things lead to the decline of a bhikkhu who is temporarily free.
पञ्चिमे, भिक्खवे, धम्मा समयविमुत्तस्स भिक्खुनो अपरिहानाय संवत्तन्ति। कतमे पञ्च? न कम्मारामता, न भस्सारामता, न निद्दारामता, इन्द्रियेसु गुत्तद्वारता, भोजने मत्तञ्ञुता। इमे खो, भिक्खवे, पञ्च धम्मा समयविमुत्तस्स भिक्खुनो अपरिहानाय संवत्तन्ती”ति।
Pañcime, bhikkhave, dhammā samayavimuttassa bhikkhuno aparihānāya saṁvattanti. Katame pañca? Na kammārāmatā, na bhassārāmatā, na niddārāmatā, indriyesu guttadvāratā, bhojane mattaññutā. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca dhammā samayavimuttassa bhikkhuno aparihānāya saṁvattantī”ti.
These five things don’t lead to the decline of a bhikkhu who is temporarily free. What five? They don’t relish work, talk, sleep, and company. They guard the sense doors and they have moderation in eating. These five things don’t lead to the decline of a bhikkhu who is temporarily free.”

तस्सुद्दानं
Tassuddānaṁ
दत्वा अवजानाति आरभति च, सारन्दद तिकण्ड निरयेन च; मित्तो असप्पुरिससप्पुरिसेन, समयविमुत्तं अपरे द्वेति।
Datvā avajānāti ārabhati ca, Sārandada tikaṇḍa nirayena ca; Mitto asappurisasappurisena, Samayavimuttaṁ apare dveti.
ततियो पण्णासको समत्तो।
