Discontent

“တယောမေ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, ဓမ္မာ၊ ကတမေ တယော? အရတိ, ဝိဟိံသာ, အဓမ္မစရိယာ၊ ဣမေ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, တယော ဓမ္မာ၊ ဣမေသံ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, တိဏ္ဏံ ဓမ္မာနံ ပဟာနာယ တယော ဓမ္မာ ဘာဝေတဗ္ဗာ၊ ကတမေ တယော? အရတိယာ ပဟာနာယ မုဒိတာ ဘာဝေတဗ္ဗာ, ဝိဟိံသာယ ပဟာနာယ အဝိဟိံသာ ဘာဝေတဗ္ဗာ, အဓမ္မစရိယာယ ပဟာနာယ ဓမ္မစရိယာ ဘာဝေတဗ္ဗာ၊ ဣမေသံ ခေါ, ဘိက္ခဝေ, တိဏ္ဏံ ဓမ္မာနံ ပဟာနာယ ဣမေ တယော ဓမ္မာ ဘာဝေတဗ္ဗာ”တိ၊

“Bhikkhus, there are these three things. What three? Discontent, cruelty, and unprincipled conduct. These are the three things. To give up these three things you should develop three things. What three? You should develop rejoicing to give up discontent, harmlessness to give up cruelty, and principled conduct to give up unprincipled conduct. These are the three things you should develop to give up those three things.”
