Zaw Win Htut
Zaw Win Htut (born January 21, 1964) is a famous Burmese rock, country, and blues singer with his band, Emperor. Currently demonstrating in music recording and studio performance, Zaw Win Htut turned up the rock music history in Burma into Western culture music.
Biography
Zaw Win Htut was born into a family whose father was a doctor and grandfather (Shwe Taing Nyunt) was a national hero of Burma in the history. His mother, Htar was a folk singer. As matured, he has been nicknamed as Nyi Htut.
Zaw Win Htut started his music career as a drummer in a band called Oasis which played for a famous singer Phyu Thi. He made his own band, Emperor, was formed in the 1980s with five members, Zaw Myo Htut (his brother and lead guitarist), Cin Khan Pun (bass), Wai Tun (drummer), Maung Maung Lwin (keyboard), John O' Hara (acoustic). He was strictly a country, rock and roll singer in his early career. He started producing in his first album in 1983. At first, it was not accepted widely in the country. After his third album, he made an album called Hlyet Sit Moe Kaung Kin in 1989 which was his most hit album in 80s and opened his career widely to further success later. He songs were mostly copied songs from then famous western bands, at first. He famously said that singing those songs were like wearing someone's else shirt. He decided to make only own tune albums in mid 1990 and still doing it. He was one of the very first to break that copy singing traditional of Burmese rock music industry. He made his famous own tune songs like "Anhinemet", "Achit Myar Thu Si Mhar", etc. Not many own tune songs of others famous rock singers were as famous as those songs. He has been working with famous songs writer including Thukhamain Hlaing, Min Chit Thu, Win Min Htwe, Saw Khu Sae. Nyi Htut himself also writes some songs. By early 2000, he also introduced Blues as a transformation and new introduction.
Zaw Win Htut has a love for and is a supporter of other forms of art. One of his dreams is to live in a house full of beautiful paintings. He has a collection of about 100 paintings by famous artists and others who are not so well-known.
Personal life
Zaw Win Htut is married to May Khaine and has a boy and a girl with her.
Politics

The band name is "EMPEROR" his band consist of four players, two of them were replaced with new players. The former drummer "Wai Tun" quit the band to continue on his studio (Nawaratt Studio) and another player is "Bo Cin" replaced with "Bo Myint" because of drug addiction.
