YANG
YANG is an XML data modeling language for NETCONF, currently in draft proposal for the IETF. It can be used to model both configuration as well as state data for network elements. It is a modular system that structures data in an XML tree format. The proposal defines a method for users to use predefined types; if none of them are valid, the proposal defines a method for users to define their own types.
