Xanthomatosis
Xanthomatosis is a cutaneous manifestation of lipidosis in which there is an accumulation of lipids in large foam cells within the skin. Individual lesions of xanthomatosis may be referred to as a xanthoma. Xanthomatosis may be divided into the following types:
Xanthoma tuberosum Xanthoma tendinosum Eruptive xanthoma Xanthoma planum Palmar xanthoma Xanthelasma palpebrarum Tuberoeruptive xanthoma Nodular xanthoma
