Tamandaré
Tamandaré is a municipality and a beach located roughly 110 km (65 miles) south of Recife, the capital city of the Brazilian state of Pernambuco.

Beaches
Tamandaré beach Urbanized, has two kilometers long of sand and a good number of touristics facilities. Has small waves and fine sand, considered by many as the best beach for bathing and swimming in Pernambuco. Easy to reach from Recife and Caruaru, becoming one of the shelters for those who want to get rid of the large urban centers life style.
Boca da Barra beach At low tide is formed natural pools. Good for swimming, has a dense mangrove vegetation in the estuary of Canoa quebrada River. Its possible walking, to reach the Mamocambilhas beach in Barreiros.
Campas beach With its 3 kilometers long, is good for swimming, and in front of the Marinas hotel, the sea allows natural anchorages of boats. Has a good touristic infrastructure, where is possible to rental equipments such as jetski, banana boats and boats.
Carneiros beach Still almost deserted, just has a few summer houses and bars. It has five kilometers of beautiful landscape mixed between the reefs, coconut trees and low waves water.
