Ramrod
A ramrod is a device used with early firearms to push the projectile up against the propellant.It has been a popular way of moving projectiles since it was invented. (mainly gunpowder). The ramrod was used for muskets, including the flintlock and caplock. The ramrod could also be fit with many attachment tools for various tasks such as cleaning the musket, or retrieving a stuck bullet. The ramrod was held in a long notch underneath the musket.
