Haa Breathing
The Technique
• Stand up; let the hands down along the body, legs apart.
• Breathe through the nose, slowly rising the hands above the head, until they reach the vertical position, along the body.
• Hold the air for a moment.
• Breathe out sharply through the mouth, leaning quickly forward and emitting the sound "Haa". Leaning forward, the breathing and the sound are simultaneous. The sound is generated in the throat, through the friction of the air in the glottis.
• Repeat steps 2-3-4 no more than three times.
• Breathe in through the nose, lifting the hands slowly above the head.
• Let the hands down along the body, slowly breathing out through the nose.
Observations
• If you feel dizzy, execute steps 2-3-4 only once, otherwise three times.
• To prevent the loss of body balance, hold the knees straight and bend from the lumbar region.
• If your back is not flexible enough, bend only as much as possible to be able to breathe out forcefully, emitting the sound "Haa".
• If the breathing is properly executed, the sound is not generated in the mouth, but in the throat, through the friction of the air in the glottis.
