Nephrosis

Nephrosis refers to a non-inflammatory nephropathy.

It should not be confused with nephritis, where inflammation is implied. However, some sources equate nephrosis with nephropathy.

It can also be used to indicate an emphasis on the renal tubule.

Examples include amyloid nephrosis.
