Lambis
Lambis is a genus of large sea snails sometimes known as spider conchs, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Strombidae, the true conch family.
Like the siphonal canal, the apertural lips of species of the Lambis genus are adorned with circumapertural projections, which are fingerlike processes emanating from the edge of the shell aperture.
