Lagorchestes

Lagorchestes is a genus containing all but one of the species referred to as hare-wallabies. It has four species, two of which are extinct: Lake Mackay Hare-wallaby, Lagorchestes asomatus (extinct)
Spectacled Hare-wallaby, Lagorchestes conspicillatus
Rufous Hare-wallaby, Lagorchestes hirsutus
Eastern Hare-wallaby, Lagorchestes leporides (extinct)

The oldest known fossil of Lagorchestes is an 11,000-year-old Spectacled Hare-Wallaby (still extant).
