Kim Moyes
Kimberley Issac 'Kim' Moyes (born September 15, 1976) is one half of a Sydney electronica two-piece, The Presets. He plays keyboard and drums. He also played Moog synthesizer for Sydney band Prop. Moyes is also in the band The Dissociatives with Daniel Johns of Silverchair and producer Paul Mac. His producing credits include, but are not limited to, The Valentinos (now Lost Valentinos) and The Cops, both Sydney-based bands. Moyes played the vibraphone on the soundtrack to the Australian film Somersault, with Sydney-based band Decoder Ring. Moyes also played marimba on the Powderfinger song "The Metre", from their album Odyssey Number Five.
Career
Moyes attended the Conservatorium High School for years 11 and 12, before going on to a Bachelor of Music at the Conservatorium proper, during which time he met Julian Hamilton.
Moyes works under the alias K.I.M (Kimberly Isaac Moyes) and makes original music and remixes. His solo release System Breakdown was only released in Japan; however it is easily bought online.
