Immanuel Bible Church
Immanuel Bible Church is a non-denominational Bible church located in Springfield, Virginia, approixmately 2 miles inside of the Capital Beltway and 10 miles outside of Washington, DC.
History
Founded in 1964 as a Baptist church, Immanuel's congregation met at Lee High School until they were able to obtain their own building. In 1984, the church left the General Association of Regular Baptists and became non-denominational. Currently, IBC has a congregation of over 3,500, making the church one of the largest in northern Virginia.
Church planting and partnership
In 2004, Immanuel Bible Church assisted in the establishment of Gateway Bible Church[http://www.gatewaybiblechurch.net] in Gainesville, Virginia and began a partnership with Grace Bible Church in Lorton, Virginia.
