Ice water

Ice water (sometimes spelled ice-water) is ice and water placed together in a container. See also water ice.

In chemistry, this is generally used to act as cooling vessel. Table salt is sometimes added to induce melting of the ice and subsequent reduction of temperature down to about zero degrees Celsius.
