El Estudiante is a 2009 Mexican film written and directed by Roberto Girault, and starring Jorge Lavat, Norma Lazareno, José Carlos Ruiz, Jeannine Derbez,Siouzana Melikianand Cristina Obregón. The film depicts the story of a 70 years old man called Chano, who decides to go to collage.

Plot

The story takes place in Guanajuato. It retails the story of a 70 year old men called Chano, who decides to enter collage to study literature, and carrying his Quixote-like attitude tries to break thegenerational gap. Thus creating a clash of different traditions, in which they will share dreams and experience.
