Aborigine

Aborigine or aboriginal generally refers to Indigenous peoples in general. The origin of the name goes back to Aborigines of Roman mythology. It is defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary as:

1: being the first or earliest known of its kind present in a region <aboriginal forests> <aboriginal rocks> 2 a: of or relating to aborigines often capitalized : of or relating to the indigenous peoples of Australia 3. The original inhabitant of any country are referred to by this term. A large number of Europeans settled down at far-off places during colonial era uprooting the aborigines.
